Addition Practice
Grade 3 · medium
Take your time on each one. Neat work is easy to check.
Third grade asks a child to know things cold. Multiplication and division facts, the meaning of a fraction, and enough reading stamina to get through a word problem without help. The sheets here are built for drilling that, with a page density you set rather than one a publisher chose.

Third grade is the year timed fact practice earns its place. Set the questions per page to the maximum and the spacing to packed, and you get a dense single-page drill of up to 48 facts. The answer key was worked out as the questions were, so marking takes a minute.
Change the seed (or just generate again) and you get a different sheet with the same shape. That is the part a printable pack from a shop cannot do: the twentieth sheet is as fresh as the first.
The fraction sheets show a shape with part of it shaded and ask for the fraction. That is deliberately the easy direction — reading a picture and writing the symbol — because a third grader who can do that reliably has the concept, and the arithmetic can come later.
The hard setting moves to shapes divided into more parts and to fractions that are easy to name wrongly, which is where a misconception shows up while it is still cheap to fix.
No. Every division problem is built from a divisor and a whole-number quotient, so the answer is always exact. Remainders are a Grade 4 topic and are not offered below it.
Up to 48 at the most compact spacing, in framed answer boxes. You pick the number; the layout picks the column count that fills the page at that density.
No. Every question on this site is generated by tested rules, and the word problems are built from fixed sentence patterns with generated numbers, so the answer key cannot disagree with the question.
